The Adult Services Department offers a wide variety of materials and programs to fill your entertainment and informational needs.

We provide popular and classic fiction and non-fiction, magazines, newspapers, and pamphlets. We also have an extensive genealogy research department, which includes resources such as Indiana census microfilm, the local newspaper on microfilm dating back over 100 years, local school yearbooks, city directories, and more.

Some of our electronic resources include:

Electronic Databases (most available only from library terminals):

  • INSPIRE - Collection of Magazine, newspaper, web links and other information resources
  • NewsBank: Full-text articles from over 500 regional and national newspapers, wire services and broadcasts.
  • NoveList - Wondering what to read next? Who writes like your favorite author?
  • Reference USA - Telephone numbers, addresses and other information for U.S. companies and individuals
  • Mitchell1 - The culmination of eighty years of automotive information excellence.
We will help you:
  • Find books and magazine articles on a particular Subject
  • Use The Computers
  • Answer Questions or Provide Statistics

We offer an interlibrary loan service. If we don’t have a magazine article or book
that you need, we will request it for you from another library for a small fee.
