If you are a resident of La Porte County and you
live in the Library district, you may obtain a free library
card at any library location. You will need to present identification
to obtain a card and you must present your library card each
time you check out materials. |

The La Porte County Public Library system serves all La
Porte County residents except those who live in the following
townships: Cass, Dewey, Michigan, and New Durham. Residents
of these 4 townships are eligible to obtain cards under a special
statewide agreement. Please ask for details at any library location. |

There are also options available for those who do not live
in La Porte County to purchase a library card for a nominal
