Media Reviews

Welcome! The Audiovisual Department has a wide variety of educational and entertainment materials including current hits available free of charge to LaPorte County Library District residents or property owners--or Michigan City Library District patrons.

Overdue fines are charged and some restrictions apply. All of our materials are listed in our online catalog. All but entertainment videos and DVDs renew for a second borrowing period unless another patron has requested them. Stop in and get a copy of our borrowing policies from our check out counter.

We also have an after hours dropbox outside the Maple Street entrance for your convenience.

PATRON BORROWING LIMITS

Entertainment Videos or DVDs

TEN titles with no more than 4 new release titles. New releases are due back in 2 days, while older titles are due back in 7 days.

Music CDs

TEN titles with no more than 4 new release titles for 14 days.

Audiovisual Equipment

Overhead Projectors may be borrowed for 3 days.
Slide projectors, 16mm projectors, and screens may be borrowed for 7 days.
Equipment may be reserved in advance. Renewal is possible.
