Speakers Bureau:
Staff members can speak to your group on a variety of subjects, ranging from library topics to the amazing stories behind La Porte houses.

Adult Programs:
We sponsor and host many free-to-the-public programs such as book discussion groups, plays, how-to workshops, self-defense for women, gardening and landscaping, and local history-unsolved crimes.

Young Adult Advisory Board:
Assists with summer reading programs and the children's Halloween party. The rewards are an annual game day and a pizza party!

Volunteer Program:
Help the library and feel good about yourself! We need volunteers in order to continue to provide quality patron service.

Friends of the Library:
Membership of $5.00 per year ($3.00 for senior citizens). The Friends sponsors the annual Library Book Sale, and a bus trip. The Friends of the Library also sponsors library programs.
